Legal / Cookie PolicyEffective September 10, 2026
Venuvo AB, org. nr 559499‑4484. This is the document as it stands today. When it changes, the effective date above changes with it.
All documents are indexed on the legal page. A Swedish version of this document is available on request from info@venuvo.net.
Language: This policy exists in Swedish and English. In the event of any discrepancy between the versions, the Swedish version prevails. See Section 7.
This Cookie Policy describes how Venuvo AB uses cookies and similar technologies on https://venuvo.net, https://www.venuvo.net and within the Service. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
What is a cookie? A cookie is a small text file saved on your device when you visit a website. Cookies help websites remember information about your visit. The same rules apply to other storage on your device, such as browser local storage.
Authentication cookies, security tokens (CSRF), session handling and load balancing within the Service, together with storage of your choice under this policy. No consent required. Your choice must be stored so that we can respect it on your next visit.
Language preferences and display settings. Consent required.
We measure how the website is used: page views, session data and use of website features, in aggregate form.
The measurement is entirely first-party and cookieless. It is operated by Venuvo on our own domain, it sets no cookies, and it stores nothing on your device. Data is never sent to any external analytics tool.
Because the measurement neither stores nor reads information on your device, it does not fall within the cookie consent requirement in the Swedish Electronic Communications Act (2022:482), which implements Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive. The legal basis for the processing is our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
You can still opt out. If you decline analytics in the cookie banner or via 'Cookie settings' in the footer, no analytics data is collected at all, and that choice is respected on every subsequent visit. You can change your mind at any time by the same route.
IP addresses are never stored. Your IP address is used only at the moment the request is received, to derive a pseudonymous, non-reversible identifier and a coarse geographic location (country and city). The IP address itself is not saved in any database and cannot be reconstructed from the identifier.
Analytics data is stored within the EU and deleted automatically by daily routines after a limited retention period. The data is used to understand how the website is used — it is not sold, not shared with advertisers, and not used for profiling or automated decision-making.
Venuvo uses no marketing or advertising cookies on the website. Earlier versions of this policy described a third-party marketing pixel. It is no longer used and has been removed. If we introduce such a cookie in future it will require explicit consent, and this policy will be updated first.
On your first visit a cookie banner offers the choices: accept all, reject all non-essential, or configure by category. No non-essential cookies are placed before you choose.
The banner informs you of the measurement described in Section 3.3 and gives you the means to opt out of it. Because that measurement is cookieless and consent-exempt, it runs until you decline it. If you decline analytics, collection stops immediately and does not resume.
You can change your settings at any time via 'Cookie settings' in the footer, and you can withdraw any consent given by the same route.
Browser settings: Chrome (Settings > Privacy > Cookies), Firefox (Settings > Privacy), Safari (Settings > Privacy), Edge (Settings > Cookies).
The website is delivered via a content delivery and DNS provider, and analytics data is stored with our database provider within the EU. These act as processors for Venuvo and process the data only on our instructions. A complete and current list of our sub-processors, with names and processing locations, is set out in our sub-processor list.
We may update this policy. Before introducing any new cookie category requiring consent, fresh consent will be obtained before it is put into use.
This policy exists in Swedish and English. In the event of any discrepancy between the versions, the Swedish version prevails.
