01Idea

Some companies don’t sell products.

Most software assumes a cart, a SKU and a checkout. A firm that designs and installs sells none of those — it sells a drawing, a site visit, three revisions and a relationship carried across months. Nothing on the market was built for that shape.

02Planning

Four stages, four documents.

We sat with firms whose deals live in quotes, drawings and site visits, and wrote down what the sale actually looks like. Every one of them described the same four stages and produced the same four documents. Nothing we built after this was a guess.

03Building

Four modules that read the same rows.

A CRM, a spreadsheet, a shared inbox and a folder tree, reconciled by hand every week. We replaced the reconciling. One structure, one organisation boundary, and nothing to integrate — because there is nothing to join.

04Nova

60+ tools, every call recorded.

An assistant with the run of your workspace and nothing outside it. Five turns, five calls to a turn — a ceiling written into the runtime, not a guideline. Every call is logged with its arguments, its result and how long it took, and streamed to the panel while it runs.

05The gate

And then it stops.

Writes are intercepted before they execute. Nova prepares the change, signs it, and hands it back unfinished. You approve, and only then does it run — under your own session, against the account that confirmed it. Nothing reaches your data until a person says so.

06Venuvo

One system. Still being built.

Founded and incorporated in Sweden, still founder-run. Four modules on one database, an assistant with the run of your workspace and nothing outside it, a gate in front of every write, and a schedule you can read before you sign it. That is where it is today.

About Venuvo

We did not set out to build software. We kept meeting the same problem in other people’s companies.

Venuvo began as an agency, doing the digital work for firms that sell projects rather than products: the website, the campaign, the parts of a business a customer sees before anyone picks up the phone. That work put us inside company after company, and the same thing kept turning up.

A CRM held the contact. A spreadsheet held the quote, because the CRM could not. The drawing and its revisions lived in an inbox, the site-visit notes in a folder tree, and somebody spent part of every week making four systems agree about one deal. The software we sell now is the thing we wanted to hand those clients and could not find.

  1. Instead of us

The firms we sat with ran on four tools that were never designed to meet. The CRM was built for a sales team that closes in a call, so the quote lives in a spreadsheet instead, because a price that changes after a site visit has nowhere else to go. The drawing and its revisions sit in an inbox, and the site-visit notes sit in a folder tree nobody can search. Each tool is fine on its own. Together they hold one deal between them, and the reconciling falls to whoever cares most.

  2. What we do differently

Venuvo OS keeps a deal in one record from the first enquiry to the handover. Four modules read the same rows, so the quote revised after a site visit is the quote the installation is delivered against, and there is nothing to integrate because there is nothing to join. Nova, the assistant, can read the workspace it was opened in and nothing outside it, with financial figures refused below manager, and change none of it on its own: every write waits for a person to confirm it, and the gate is enforced in the code rather than asked of the model.

  3. Who it is for

Firms in Sweden and the EU whose deals live in quotes, drawings and site visits: any business where the price is not final until someone has stood in the room. Work sold as a project rather than picked from a catalogue. If a deal at your firm runs enquiry, quote, drawing, installation, and the drawing is why the quote changed, this system was drawn around your week.

How we got here

Three years, and one idea that kept surviving contact with real businesses. Pick a year.

2023Ung Företagsamhet

It starts as a school company.

Venuvo begins as a Ung Företagsamhet venture at Affärsgymnasiet: four people, one service, and the first version of a habit we never lost — sit inside somebody else’s business until you understand how the work actually runs.

The service was digital work for small firms: the website, the campaign, the things a company needs before it can be found. It was a school company on paper, and the customers were real. None of them wanted a deliverable that did not fit the way they worked, which is how the habit started.

Software should describe the work as it actually runs, not as someone assumed it would.

How we work

Three things we do that cost us something. Each is checkable against a page on this site — a value nobody can verify is decoration.

  1. We say what the audit found.

We audited our own system against OWASP practice and it came back with four findings. We say so on the security page rather than leave the number out.

We could have left the audit off this site entirely. We would rather a buyer know that it happened and what it returned, because the alternative is asking them to trust a company they have no way to check.

    See the security page
  2. We do not publish estimates.

No user counts, no revenue figures, no percentages we cannot source. If a number is not true by construction or attributed to someone who said it, it is not on this site.

That rule costs us the numbers most software sites open with: the customer count, the growth curve, the percentage improvement. Where this site carries a count, it is one that is true by construction, like the number of controls stated on the security page. Where a fact is not yet in hand, the page says nothing rather than something rounded.

  3. We say what is not finished.

The security page lists what the software does not do yet, and names the certifications we do not hold. It is a shorter sales cycle to be caught by nobody.

A control that is enforced in code is listed as stated, and one that is only an instruction to the model is listed as an instruction. That distinction is the point of publishing the list at all, and it is the part most sites leave out.

The company

Venuvo AB is a Swedish limited company, registered in 2024 and founder-run since, with customer data stored and processed in the EU. It is small enough that a support request reaches a founder rather than a queue.
